About the editor, your images, and the Mac app.
Yes. Download ShotAccent 0.3.1 for macOS on this page. It has been tested on Apple silicon. This build is signed and notarized for macOS. The website’s interactive artwork is a style demo, not the desktop editor.
Yes. The desktop editor imports PNG, JPEG, and WebP images up to 32 MB and 40 megapixels, with a maximum of 16,000 pixels per side. You can choose a file or drag it into the editor. Image paste is available on macOS. Animated images use their first frame.
Choose background presets, custom colors or gradients, padding, corners, shadows, window frames, crop, rotation, and layout. Export PNG or JPEG at 256–4096 pixels per side. PNG supports a transparent background; JPEG uses a white base. Projects embed your original image so you can reopen and edit them later.
No. The desktop editing workflow processes images on your device and saves the current project locally for recovery. There are no accounts, uploads, analytics, or cloud services in the app. The website’s style demo only changes sample artwork in your browser.
There is no Windows download yet; that target has not been built or tested. The current Mac version does not require a subscription or license key. Future pricing has not been announced. Intel Macs have not been tested.
